Where are you resisting reality?

The breakthrough didn’t come from coaching. It came from Lenny Kravitz.

Where are you resisting reality?

It’s any place you’re stuck wishing someone—or something—were different.

One of my clients struggled for years with his father.
Controlling. Critical. Never good enough.
She tried everything to fix it. Nothing changed.

The breakthrough didn’t come from coaching.
It came from Lenny Kravitz.

In Let Love Rule, he writes:
“The impasses between my father and I were epic, but as a result, I grew stronger.
I simply would not be who I am today without those power struggles.
As ugly as our battles became, they were an education.
I had to go through Dad to become me.”

That quote opened my client’s heart.
She stopped trying to change her father—and started appreciating the strength she gained because of him.

That’s the shift:
From resistance to acceptance.
From control to growth.
From pain to perspective.

So ask yourself:
Where are you resisting reality?
And what value have you gained from exactly what you’ve been trying to avoid?
